John & Pam O'Keeffe bought The Sherborne Arms in 1984 and turned it into a thriving establishment particulary noted for its warming casseroles and fresh fish. A warm welcome was always there for customers and John never forgot a face, even if you were an annual holiday maker!
In 1990 they were joined in business by John and Pam's daughter Joanne and her husband David. The pub was refurbished and extended and continued to offer good quality home cooked food! It was very much a family affair as the waiting staff could be any of the children or grandchildren
In 2006 John died of cancer but the family have carried on running The Sherborne Arms in the same spirit. It is still very much a village pub where you can now meet even more of the family as it has expanded and grown!
